Hey there, I'm Sasha
Your Life Coach, Business Mentor, Sounding Board, Creative Partner and Confidante.
I help Reward based Dog Trainers, and Behavioural Practitioners untangle their businesses, and get out of the weeds of overwhelm. So that they can create a business that takes care of them as well as their clients.
It’s never been more important
For ethical, client centered Dog Trainers to take ownership of their businesses and to stand up for what they believe in.
I also know having worked with R+ Dog Trainers since 2020, that the weight of that responsibility sits heavily on your shoulders.
Because running (and growing) a business right now feels more challenging than ever before.
Balancing your needs, your clients needs with the Business bank balance.
Combined with the increasing demand on your time, energy and capacity as the world continues to stretch us in every way possible.
While trying to stay up to date with the latest research and education, and begin to grasp all of the business jargon and “trends”
Which leaves you feeling more and more scattered, overwhelmed, stretched for time and further away from the business you want to create, and the people and dogs you want to help most.
- This is where I come in, to ground you back into your purpose -
To help you to tune out the noise, and dial into the things that will make the biggest difference to you, as well as your clients.
To fill in the gaps, speed up your decision making and to support you to take action, teasing out those quiet whispering of idea’s and partnering with you to bring them to reality.
By blending together Coaching, and 5 years of industry specific Business Mentoring to help you to get back on track, regain your focus and develop new thinking that allows you to make meaningful progress and take tangible steps forward.
I’m ready when you are!
How I work
No matter what business stage you are, my approach remains client centered.
As a qualified coach (Level 2 Professional Diploma), and a small business mentor who has worked within the industry for almost 10 years, first running my own business and then working with Dog Trainers almost exclusively since the beginning of 2020.
My work is always tailored to the individual person in front of me taking into consideration their needs, wants, values, beliefs and life context.
Clients describe me as a mixture between a Coach, a Mentor, a Business Partner, and Confidante.
With an ability to turn “problems on to their head”, you can trust I will bring a “kind, empathetic, and passionate approach to building your business with you” to the table.
Whilst I am not a practicing Dog Trainer, having run my own Daycare and Boarding Business (and learning from my own mistakes), and the five, going into six years of working with Dog Trainers I have a unique insight into the challenges you face as a practitioner.
By blending together Business mentoring, with Coaching as well as an up to date understanding about human education and motivation I am immensely passionate about the work I do with clients - often establishing long-term partnerships that allow me to witness businesses grow and expand over time. Which keeps my client base small, for maximum input and impact.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds, from across the U.K with the ability to work fully virtually enabling us to work together no matter where you are.
Which best describes where you are now?

"I can't do this"
Nothing quite prepared you for the reality of running your own business. You have a deep love and passion for dog’s and their welfare. You’ve attended the courses, invested in your education and felt armed and ready to go. But launching and running a business, especially in the beginning can feel incredibly overwhelming. Quickly realising that running a Dog Training Business, requires people skills as well as business knowledge to get it up and off the ground. You want to learn how, but you don’t know where to begin or where to start which means you go round and round, and stay stuck in your own head and scared to take action. When you have tried things like posting on social media or having a go at creating a website but often it feels like no matter what you do, nothing seems to be working. Can leave you awake at night wondering if you can actually do this, and get your business up and running. What you want is to feel like you can actually do this. What you need is the support, education and accountability to make small steps that over time have a big impact in helping you establish your business in your local area.

The "Messy" Middle
You, my friend, are in what is affectionately known as the “messy middle” stages of running a business. You have a semi-established and experienced local Dog Training Business, in that people know who you are, and what you offer. But, your income is inconsistent, your time is stretched and you're swamped under admin, client commitments and your own expectations. There are days where you love what you do, and days where you question your own sanity. You have invested in your education, you know you have a lot to offer but investing in you, your own development and your business feels like it’s not an option. Trusting someone to support you, and help you make changes that right now might feel impossible without worrying about compromising on your ethics, beliefs and values as a practitioner. What you want is more consistency, and certainty. What you need is the support, tools and self belief to implement changes that take care of you, your business as well as your clients.
